•Consulting with clients and identifying needs based on current symptoms and desired outcomes.
• Follow proper procedure for IV catheter insertion.
• Administer IV fluids, vitamin infusions, and IM wellness shots.

• Perform chart reviews in provider offices to abstract data needed for quality reporting to National Committee for Quality Assurance.
• Keeping organized Excel spread sheets of all work lists and updating/creating new spread sheets as needed.
• Collaborate with various provider offices to ensure preventative health care screenings are performed based on best practice guidelines.
• Perform in-home nurse visits for diabetic testing and osteoporosis testing.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the organization.
• Chart individual nurse home visits within electronic medical record.
Oncology/Hematology Unit
• Maintains confidentiality in matters related to patient, family, and client facility staff.
• Manages post- operative pain and surgical sites. •Assesses, implements, and evaluates a comprehensive plan of care through a multidisciplinary care team process in conjunction with the patient/family.
•Performs nursing care in an organized, systematic manner and utilize time efficiently based on knowledge of nursing theories and procedures.
•Provides individualized education for the patient, family, and or caregiver throughout the continuum of care. •Utilize clinical skills to safely administer medications and injections, administer IV therapy, test glucose levels, perform venipuncture, and provide wound care. •Documents patient assessment findings, physical/psychosocial responses to nursing interventions.
Post-Anesthesia Care Unit
•Manages care of post-operative patient by performing assessments, vital sign checks, review of patient history, review of diagnostic studies, and physicians orders with proper follow through and begins discharge process. •Identifies and communicates changes in patient status with physicians in timely manner.
•Assists physicians with bedside procedures, such as blood patches, nerve blocks, and epidural insertions.
