Chick-fil-A:
During my time at Chick-fil-A, I worked as a team member in various roles, including cashier, food preparation, and customer service. I gained valuable experience in providing exceptional service to customers while maintaining a fast-paced and efficient work environment. As a cashier, I handled transactions, processed payments, and ensured accuracy in order fulfillment. I also assisted in food preparation, following strict quality and safety standards. Additionally, I actively engaged with customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their overall satisfaction. Through my time at Chick-fil-A, I developed strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, customer-focused environment.
Pats of Henderson (Hostess):
As a hostess at Pats of Henderson, I played a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and organized atmosphere for guests. My responsibilities included greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of operations. I effectively communicated with guests to understand their preferences and accommodate their needs, providing them with a positive first impression of the restaurant. Furthermore, I handled telephone inquiries and assisted in managing the waitlist during peak hours. Through my experience as a hostess, I developed excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and a strong attention to detail.
Substitute Teacher:
I decided to become a substitute to further my experience in the classroom, as well as developing skills needed to pursue my passion in education. During this time I learned how to manage the classroom and how to execute lessons. Doing so while carefully following the teacher's plans. During this time I also received experience in the SpEd classrooms as well, and acquired the skills necessary to maintain a calm classroom, and problem solving skills.
Overall, my work experience at Chick-fil-A, as a hostess at Pats of Henderson, and as a substitute equipped me with valuable customer service skills, the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, and the capacity to provide exceptional hospitality. I am confident that the skills and experiences gained from these roles will contribute positively to future endeavors in the service industry.
