Highly passionate writer, children's educational tutor, spoken word performer, pianist, and creator of all things that engage the arts with one's body, mind, and soul. Empathy born through surviving Katrina and the duality of growing up in a single parent household. I have had the opportunity to develop a range of skills through serving as president of Loyola's Black Student Union, Chaplain of the Eta Theta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc, Co-Chief Editor of Meraki Literary Magazine, Social Justice Scholar, curriculum creator for Nyansa Non-Profit Organization, etc. The culmination of these experiences have given me skills in hands-on children's mentorship, leadership, empowerment, and creativity that I hope will make me a well versed candidate to serve and uplift your organization.
