I'm an avid overland traveler — I've explored roughly 30 of Nigeria's 36 states and ventured into 4 countries across West Africa, both behind the wheel of a modified 4x4 and on an adventure motorcycle. These journeys have given me a deep appreciation for the region's diverse cultures and landscapes, and I look forward to covering even more ground over time.
I've also sailed along the West African coastline, fishing along the way — a pursuit that's rewarded me with sightings of whales and dolphins, and a few memorable catch-and-release encounters with marlin.
As a certified scuba diver, I've explored coral reefs in Cape Town and several shipwrecks off the coast of Lagos, Nigeria.
On the quieter side, I'm a wide-ranging reader, with particular interest in government and policy, history, espionage, and memoirs.
