  • Medical Records & Scheduling: Manage patient intake, transfers, and discharges using Vista & CPRS. Verifying patients’ diagnosis codes with service connection if eligible. Verifying VA pensions, Means testing and exemptions. Updating patient demographics, scheduling, rescheduling, canceling appointments for several inpatient wards. Scheduling high risk appointments according to wait time and within 7 days of discharge for Mental Health Patients through Vista Scheduling.
  • Emergency Room Receptionist: First point of contact, greeting patients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor. Creating a positive first impression and setting the tone for the patients’ experience. Verifying insurance using ICB. Verifying patient identifiers before applying wristband to patient. Helping escort wheelchair patients to triage. Assisting discharged patients with transportation & other requests.
