Search and Rescue Duties
- Deploy from the MH-60R multi-mission helicopter via hoisting and jumping into the ocean to rescue downed pilots, sailors, or civilians.
- Provide lifesaving first aid and recovery during medevacs and transportation to get to higher medical care.
Anti-Surface Warfare
- Operate Radar, ALQ-210 Electronic Support Measure (ESM), Forward Looking Infrared Camera (FLIR), and other various systems to locate, track, and engage enemy combatant surface vessels for the safety of the Carrier Strike Group.
- Train as a Command and Control platform to perform Maritime Strikes on enemy combatants to ensure safety of the fleet.
- Operate the GAU-21 and M240D crew-served weapons.
- Use FLIR camera alongside other systems to engage enemy combatants with Hellfire missiles and APKWS rockets.
Anti-Submarine Warfare.
- Analyze acoustic data in real time from sonobuoys and other various sonar technologies to help the crew detect, track, and classify underwater threats.
- Operate and deploy Torpedoes to destroy enemy underwater threats if needed to ensure safety of Carrier Strike Group.
Deployment and other Operational Readiness Achievements
- As Training Petty Officer, I maintained logs and records for 128 hours of mandated tactical training, presented over 10 secret briefs, enhancing tactical proficiency for 19 fellow aircrewmen and pilots.
- As Logs and Records Petty Officer, I maintained 39 pilot and aircrew logbooks, resulting in 100% accuracy of logging mishap-free flight hours for the whole command.
- Flew over 23 flight hours for Lockheed Martin, consisting of a never-before-seen artificial intelligence electronic warfare and anti-submarine warfare system test, resulting in potential future upgrades for MH-60R technology, enhancing deployed forces' recognition.
- Flew 8 sorties during the ISATT/IPEX exercise onboard the USS Montgomery, qualifying aviation and shipboard personnel in preparation for deployment to the 7th Fleet AOR onboard the USS Omaha.
- Deployed onboard the USS Omaha (LCS 12) in December 2024, and conducted flight operations and training in the South China Sea.
- Obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance for giving out secret intelligence and pre-mission execution briefs. Study secret tactics, along with secret foreign and enemy intel.
- Obtained the rank of Second Class Petty Officer (E-5) in the United States Navy.
- I attended and graduated from Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) School.
- Also achieved the qualification of Advanced SERE School. (SERE 245)
