- Shadowed a chemical engineer to gain insight into generals about the chemicals we were exposed to, as well as the complete process of how gloves are created and tested.
- Installed and tested sensors on equipment to measure things such as humidity in specific tanks or lines on the plant.
- Assisted control systems and automation engineers in automation processes, such as establishing point-to-point and the installation of panels and smaller systems.
- Collaborated with a production engineer to implement ISO 9000 quality standards across locations in the plant, including on tank levers, on chemical barrels, and on the plant floor.
- Helped production engineer with work instructions on various tasks within the plant, as well as assisting with implementation of 5S.
