I was recruited out of retirement to run 3665 in Bossier Cuty, LA. I took this store from a problem child situation to being a successful and profitable store that beat shrink by 100 base points it's first inventory after I took over. I was then moved to Haughton, LA store 10190 where I turned that store into the highest volume store in district 946. I was promoted to store training manager in 2023 and then placed in the Store Manager Ladder program where I completed the program in less than 6 months and have passed 2ivisional interviews over zoom.
Responsibilities included staffing to guidance. Hiring, training, and sourcing new talent. Controlling shrink and payroll. All aspects of merchandising. Planning and staffing special projects. Preparing was planning for 30/60/90 days out including correction of errors from the year before. Secondary responsibilities included with running the c-store and making sure that all federal, state, and local guidelines for tobacco, alcohol, and gasoline.
