I was introduced to the world of dance at the age of 2. I completely fell in love and started at the age of 3. My the age of 8 I was competing in dance competitions such as West Coast Dance Explosion, New York City Dance Alliance, as well as studying under R.A.D.
I was a junior, senior apprentice, and senior company member of the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet. I studied under many guest artists from New York, California, Dallas, England, and Paris. I have spent the last few years pouring my heart into the next generation and sharing my love for dance and art.
My responsibility to is create a fun, safe environment for my students while teaching Pilates basics & introducing basic ballet conditioning exercises to improve strength, mobility, and flexibility. Building confidence and self love with my students is also a priority for me.
My responsibility is to teach technique & basic dance fundamentals in a safe, loving environment. I also teach my students the skills of audition preparation, improving, expressing emotion through dance, and having fun with giving them opportunities to choreograph their own combos in groups to focus on the importance of team work. I also teach Pilates and ballet conditioning in my classes.
My responsibility is to teach competition routines in a simple, efficient, and timely manner. I also make sure I communicate clearly and effectively so rehearsal runs smoothly.
My responsibility was to teach the art and fundamentals of ballet and ballet technique. I taught R.A.D technique & taught company members how to pick up choreography quickly, express emotions, work together as a team, and build confidence.
