• Provide RN care for all patients, as well as handling of intubations, defibrillations, auto transfusions, intravenous nsertions (IV), splinting, and more.
• Enhanced patient recovery rates through effective case management and vigilant monitoring.

• Administering solutions and medications such as vasopressors and sedatives

Medical ICU:

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients admitted to the ICU, including monitoring vital signs, respiratory status, neurological status, and other relevant parameters
• Disease Management: Implement and follow specific protocols for managing COVID-19 patients, including isolation precautions and infection control measures
• Ventilator Management: Manage mechanical ventilation for patients with severe respiratory distress, adjusting settings, and monitoring responses closely
• Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including antiviral drugs, antibiotics, and other supportive therapies
• Monitoring and Documentation: Continuously monitor patients' condition and document their responses to treatments, interventions, and changes in medical status
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other medical professionals, to develop and implement treatment plans
• Family Communication: Provide updates and communicate with patients' families, offering emotional support and addressing their questions and concerns.

• Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Working closely with physicians, surgeons, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Responding to Emergencies: Being prepared to respond quickly to emergencies and crises, such as cardiac arrest or respiratory distress, to provide life-saving interventions
• Discharge Planning: Assisting in developing discharge plans, arranging for home care or other necessary services, and ensuring patients are adequately prepared to continue their recovery after leaving the hospital
• Infection Control: Following strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections within the healthcare facility
• Patient Advocacy: Acting as advocates for patients, ensuring their rights and preferences are respected, and addressing any concerns they may have about their

Brain Injury Rehab Unit:

• Assessment and Monitoring
• Medication Management
• Care Planning: Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to develop individualized care plans for each patient
• These plans would address their specific needs and goals for rehabilitation
• Rehabilitation Therapy: Assisting patients with therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve their physical and cognitive abilities
• This might involve physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and cognitive therapy
• Patient and Family Education: Educating patients and their families about the nature of brain injuries, the rehabilitation process, potential outcomes, and how they can participate in their loved one's recovery
• Emotional Support: Providing emotional support to patients and their families as they cope with the challenges of brain injury recovery
• Offering counseling and guidance to address any psychological or emotional issues that may arise
• Daily Living Assistance: Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, as needed, especially during the early stages of recovery.
