Distinctive and self-motivated geoscientist with approximately fifteen months of internship experience and two years of professional involvement in the energy sector. Driven by evidence-based approaches, adept at prioritizing projects, and proficient in developing detailed geological models to support reporting and inform decision-making processes. Possesses a keen curiosity regarding the financial impact of geological models, aiming to optimize profits and facilitate commercialization efforts.
Projects
Aim: Re-evaluation of the identified reservoirs in the field for the volumetric estimation for production optimization plan.
Task: Identification and correlation of the identified hydrocarbon bearing column, the fluid type, volumetric estimation of the reservoirs, and drafting of well drilling plan for the optimal production of the field.
Result: Discovered about twenty hydrocarbon bearing reservoir, five oil and fifteen gas columns with an estimated volumes of about 100 million barrels of oil and 0.6 trillion cubic feet of gas. This improves the reserves by 20% and upon commercial approval will improve production by about 15%.
Aim: Re-evaluation of identified reservoirs for volume estimation and investigation of the deeper level for possible hydrocarbon accumulation for production optimization.
Task: Identification and correlation of the identified hydrocarbon bearing column, the fluid type, volumetric estimation of the reservoirs, and drafting of well drilling plan for the optimal production of the field. Identification of possible hydrocarbon column in the deeper sections, volumetric estimation, and uncertainty analysis considering the presence or absence of petroleum system elements.
Result: A by-passed hydrocarbon column was identified with about 3 million barrel of oil, which elevates the commerciality of the field with 10 reservoir intervals with about 20 million barrels of oil and 1.8 trillion of gas. In addition, two hydrocarbon volumes were identified whose fluid type are uncertain due to lack of data.
Aim: Re-evaluation of the identified reservoirs in the field for the volumetric estimation.
Task: Identification and correlation of the identified hydrocarbon bearing column, the fluid type, and volumetric estimation of the reservoirs.
Result: Six reservoirs were identified with three hydrocarbon bearing, whose fluid are a combination of oil and gas. The estimated volume is about 182 million barrel.
Aim: Investigation of oil blocks in the Western Niger Delta to evaluate the hydrocarbon prospectivity for the marginal field round bid round, 2023.
Task: Assessment of the petroleum system elements and processes in the field that aids the evaluation of possible reservoirs, evaluation of fluid type, volumetric estimation, and hierarchical classification of blocks in terms of prospectivity.
Result: A well developed petroleum system was identified in the study area, which substantiated the prospectivity of two blocks with a combined volume of about 550 million barrel of oil and 4 trillion cubic feet of gas. The findings were pivotal during the NUPRC marginal bid round.
