An infantryman leads, supervises, and serves as a member of an infantry unit of 10 to 20 persons, employing individual weapons, machine guns, and anti-armor weapons in offensive and defensive ground combat. Uses individual infantry weapons; lays field wire; performs basic communications functions; operates communication equipment; utilizes camouflage to conceal weapons and personnel; constructs minor fortifications; performs land navigation; performs preventive maintenance on weapons, equipment, and some vehicles; makes verbal reports; administers first aid; operates wheeled vehicles to transport personnel, supplies, and equipment.
During my time in the Army, I was a Humvee driver, Mk-19 gunner, and 240 gunner. I was trained in radio communications and was in charge of thousands of pieces of radio equipment while deployed overseas in Poland and Germany. A leader to my peers, and a strong example of what an infantryman represents. I was a part of a project program that taught me the basics of equal opportunity and support, which allowed soldiers to come to me whenever they might have needed assistance with anything, including sexism or racism, etc.
Angelina's Pizzeria is a family-owned pizza shop located in upstate New York, where I served as a counter girl, answering phones, cutting pizzas, and bussing tables.
I resigned at the end of June 2022, after I graduated high school, to serve in the United States Army.
After work you can find me in the gym or on a treadmill. On the weekends you can find me socializing with friends in a healthy environment such as hiking, run clubs, tennis and pickle ball.
