• Assist with maintaining and continually improving process efficiencies for the transportation, warehouse, and inventory control teams to include receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, sorting, and logistics of distribution of food through all points of distribution, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies including city, state, and federal entities.

• Scheduling, planning, and organizing meetings, including taking notes for key meetings and editing and posting meeting notes on common drive within the prescribed time.

• Creating, managing, and distributing spreadsheets, reports and other quality presentations

• Accept and document packages and deliveries, inspect merchandise, and verify quantities, items, specifications, and condition. This can help ensure inventory doesn't get lost in transit and that products meet quality standards.
• Store items in appropriate areas and document any changes. This may also involve helping to arrange warehouse storage.
• Prepare items for shipping, noting item contents, delivery methods, and other logistical details.
• Inventory control ensure that inventory materials are available for use and negotiate with vendors to keep them updated.
• Monitoring space, supplies, and delivery, such as getting shipments from the loading dock to their respective departments.
• Identify and resolve any shipping, storage, or receiving discrepancies. For example, a shipping and receiving manager may need to liaise with freight carriers on shipments that are in poor condition or short in quantity.
• Perform daily, weekly, or other scheduled counts of inventory on the production floor or in warehouses

• Inventory tracking: Monitor inventory levels and stock changes, and compare sales records to physical inventory
• Inventory maintenance: Develop protocols for loss mitigation, and manage inventory aging
• Ordering: Update and review purchase orders, and coordinate with the logistics team for stock transfers and deliveries
