Summary
I was a youth director for ages 11-23 at First Baptist Church Plaquemine from 2018-2021. I was able to perform my duties as youth director while still managing school as well as working another part time job at Blanchard's Building Materials. I worked at Blanchard's Building Materials for four years. Through my experience, I have learned to write purchase orders, pull and load orders, stock shelves, work with various companies and contractors and finding solutions to their problems with them.
From 2021 to now I started as an Apprentice at DOW Chemical Company and have been their since. I was able to manage on the job training while also managing 15 credit hours of schooling while finished a PTECH Degree. I currently have multiple certifications and am ongoing Board training to oversee process conditions and manage production. While in my time at DOW, I have managed to expound upon team building, learn process conditions for Poly Ethylene, trouble shoot pumps, compressors, and other pieces of equipment, and show case leadership skills at times while doing shift work.
