• Shell Geismar & Shell Convent-Capital Projects, 2013 to Present, $100k to $20M, Responsible for the delivery of monthly cost and schedule collaborative reporting for multiple projects within Shell Chemical’s capital projects group., Interfaced with construction groups and engineering firms in effort to assure that all monthly progress reporting was captured and inputted per the project estimate., Developed project specific WBS structures to allocate capital funds appropriately., Implemented EVM principles to assure that all estimates from third party companies were within conceptual parameters.
• Shell Geismar-AO-4 Tiger Expansion Project, 2015-2016, $940M, Served as the cost engineering lead through the early works phase and into the ISBL/OSBL construction phase., Responsible for the development and execution of the project’s cost reporting and forecasting system., Managed all nested contractor weekly reporting (Engineering and Construction) along with all capturing owners cost for a compiled report and delivered/presented to Shell’s Project Leadership Team monthly., Also assisted in the execution of the final TIC estimate to provide current billable rates, productivity factors, and standard site percentages., Acted as the vocal point for proposal vetting from various contractors & firms to assure alignment with the project’s TIC estimate.
• Marathon Petroleum-Garyville Major Expansion, 2007-2009, Approximately $2.5B, Responsible for the control and delivery of project cost and schedule reporting to Marathon’s project management team., Also responsible for coordinating and tracking material purchases per project design ranging from large-bore piping to tool room consumables., Assisted in the development of numerous estimates required for changes to project scope., Received the necessary training to implement earned value principles in weekly schedule updating to help eliminate risks in our forecasting accuracy.
