I am a sophomore at the University of Louisiana Lafayette and I am majoring in Civil Engineering. By May, I will have completed statics, mechanics of materials, dynamics, fluid mechanics, and surveying as far as engineering classes go. I have been working at a warehouse over the past few summer and winter breaks to save money for while I am at school. Now that I will have completed some engineering classes, I am looking for a summer internship and I am ready to apply what I have learned to real scenarios. I am eager to learn about what it takes to work in an engineering firm. I believe a part-time internship for this summer would go a long way for my career as I will be able to get a head start in working in a professional environment.
