Working at two mechanic shops in my life time has taught me so many essential skills to being an above average employee. Not only did I learn the basic mechanic and problem solving skills, when stuff doesn't go your way; but dealing with customers really showed me a lot with things such as, communication, time efficiency, and synergy skills with fellow employees. Similarly, being a parts runner and helper in the AC business was also a great opportunity for me to get my foot in the door and gather some knowledge. This really emphasized to me that time is money, the more on top my game I was on getting the proper equipment to the job site, the faster the job was finished and our technicians could move on to the next job site.
