· Ensure students are in age-appropriate restraints, monitor behavior to prevent distractions, and assist students with mobility aids or special needs
· Drive according to a set schedule and route, obeying all traffic and school transportation regulations
· Meet and greet students, assist with getting on/off the bus, and help with seatbelts or luggage
· Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, fluids, emergency exits), report mechanical issues promptly, and keep the bus clean and sanitary
· Know and follow evacuation procedures, and be ready to assist in emergencies or administer first aid if trained
· Liaise with parents, school staff, and dispatch about student behavior, delays, or incidents
