Makenzie Mason

I am an incoming Sophomore at Louisiana State University and majoring in Chemical Engineering. In the Fall of 2024, I attended Southeastern Louisiana University and majored in Physics and maintained a 4.0 GPA. I went to SLU to get the experience of being a D1 All Girl College Cheerleader, however, I am transferring to LSU now to put my academics ahead. I am so excited for my future in Chemical Engineering!

• President's List at Southeastern Louisiana University and maintained a 4.0 GPA (Fall 2025).
• Honors Program at Southeastern Louisiana University (May 2024 to May 2025).
• UCA College Cheerleading National Champion won UCA College Nationals as a member of SLU Cheer (January 2025).
• Awarded Silvia Williams Memorial Scholarship (2024) Dutchtown High School scholarship that is offered to all cheerleaders and baseball players, they chose one athlete that represents Mrs. Silvia's driven/"never give up" spirit the most.
• Ranked 8th highest GPA out of 575 students at Dutchtown High School (May 2024).
• Spanish Award, completed four years of Spanish in High School (May 2024).
• Distinguished Honor Graduate at Dutchtown High School (May 2024).
• High School National Champion, helped lead Dutchtown Varsity Cheer as Captain and won UCA High School Nationals (Feburary 2024).
• National Honors Society, was awarded the honor of being a part of National Honors Society (October 2023 to May 2024) and received a cord for graduation
