-Conducted legal intake interviews over the phone and in person. Produced detailed intakes and opened cases for all practice areas at SLLS. Provided social service and legal referrals to clients if needed. Spoke
with and helped 20-75 people per day on SLLS' COVID-19 Legal Helpline.
-Worked both as a Receptionist and Housing Law Unit Legal Assistant when not on COVID-19 Helpline
duty.

-Conducted outreach with homeless service providers, ensured unhoused people received health and housing support.
-Managed a COVID-19 and hurricane preparedness call center. Provided community members with
accurate information on COVID-19 and updated CNO's Special Needs Registry for hurricane season.
-Worked at the Health Department's COVID-19 testing sites and test result call center.
-Managed the organization's calls and walk-ins; answered client questions and directed them to
appropriate services.
-Conducted intakes with clients who were potentially discriminated against under the Fair Housing Act.
Communicated with the organization's attorneys about intakes and potential clients.
-Worked on education and outreach projects such as a "Redlining Tour" that displays the impact of
segregation on New Orleans neighborhoods.
Worked with graduates of New Orleans Mission’s rehabilitation program to help them find jobs and housing.
-Worked with children of all ages and learning abilities, as well as with parents and caregivers during pick-up and drop-off.
-Created a community garden initiative, Summer 2017.
