I work in a steel fabrication shop where I currently operate and maintain multiple CNC machines. The machines are the Lincoln electric python x structural (for plasma cutting steel beams, c channel, HSS square tubing) -the Lincoln electric python plate table (for plasma cutting steel plate) -the Peddinghaus angle master( for cutting angle, punch and shear) -the Peddinghaus BDL (for steel beams, drill bits and saw no plasma) - the Peddinghaus band saw (for sawing any type of steel material) - -Peddinghaus sand blaster- the Bend-Tech dragon machines (plasma cutting pipe and small angle)
I also have some entry level mechanic work experience. I have been at this company since I graduated high school and currently make 25 dollars an hour. We work between 60-75 hours a week. Reason for leaving is work is starting to slow down.
