- Responsible for issuing permits, building isolations, DFT, and de-isolations under Commissioning discipline using Enablon permitting database.
- Ensure that the appropriate supervisors are involved in the safe work process and approvals are secured.
- Ensure that all completed permits are properly closed and communicated to affected parties.
- Once per week, audit permits documentation in the office and in the field. This includes all pertinent permits to Work documentation (Signed JHA, Current PTW forms, and all other applicable documentation with regards to that permitted activity).
- Oversee and support JHA and PTW requests in the form of reviews / walk downs and work scope verification.
- Review One Line Diagrams / P & IDs for correct implementation of Isolations of Hazardous Energy.
- Provide a detailed Excel spreadsheet of all live and suspended night permits for daily SIMOPS meetings.
- Maintain a functional Enablon Permit to Work and LOTO Management System including audit/assessment responsibilities and document retention.
- Assist electrical/mechanical groups in ensuring precise implementation of the Lockout/Tagout process
- Train facility commissioning and construction contractors on the proper use, roles, and navigation of the Enablon permitting system.
