I've been an independent claims adjuster since 2017, and I'm a certified Appraiser with the P.L.A.N. appraisal network for insurance losses. I service daily, catastrophe, flood and Alternative Dispute Resolution claims in Southeast Florida and Southern Louisiana. I have successfully written and closed 1500+ claims with over $65 million in estimated damages. I am proficient in industry related software, working in both Symbility and Xactimate. I regularly handle residential claims with a side of commercial and I’ve provided claims handling for the following carriers in no specific order: Tower Hill, Swyfft, Usaa, State Farm, Farm Bureau, Liberty Mutual, UPC, Horace Mann, Stillwater, Kin Insurance, Frontline Insurance, Florida Peninsula, Allstate, IAT/Sagesure, Louisiana Citizens and Florida Citizens. As for the types of losses, that includes, but is not limited to: Liability, water, overflow, sewer backup, pipe break, pipe freeze, fire, vandalism, theft, wind, hail, tornado, hurricane, large loss and total loss claims.

  • Worked Hurricane Zeta in Louisiana on a State Farm Deployment.
  • Worked Hurricane Ida in Louisiana on multiple Carrier accounts including, Horace Mann, Liberty Mutual and UPC. In the following months, I completed a large number of supplemental and complex loss claims.
  • Worked Hurricane Ian in Fort Myers, Florida on multiple Carrier accounts. Completed a Large number of large loss claims in the clean up phrase of the storm.
  • Handpicked to become part of the Florida Citizens ADR(alternative dispute resolution) team in order to settle Litigated and investigate FNOL claims.
  • FNOL: Tasked with Investigating First Notice of Loss claims that are reported after the allotted reasonable time for filing a claim post storm. This includes thoroughly documenting the properties and taking recorded statements for the Carrier to make a coverage determination.
  • Depositions: Experienced in providing depositions based on inspections performed and information gather.
  • Appraisal: Tasked with completing an independent review of all insured and insurer claim information in determining a fair loss settlement to avoid litigation. This process includes thorough documentation review, record keeping, code knowledge and negotiations in order to produce an award.
