- Running crews to build substations, experience with 345kv station down to a 34.5kv, starting from getting to the site when there is just a dirt pad, excavating putting in ground grid and conduit, setting and pouring foundations for steel and containment pad for transformers, pull wire and terminate cables, erecting steel setting equipment such as switches, cvt, ccvts, pt, ssvts, adjusting switches, hanging bus, cutting pressing jumpers, pulling a stretch static wire, deal with time sheets for crew, send emails throughout the day communicate with other crew and plan daily, look at 3 week look aheads, pay attention to budgets and cost for the job to help out the project on a daily bases. Send out RFIs to help with project specifications.
