Being able to Ground and understand why im grounding equipment.

Troubleshoot PM 34.5-230kv switches.

Understand the basic knowledge of substation equipment

Effectively weld on aluminum and steel.

various knowledge around power tools and the proper tool use.

My Task while working at MTS was to preform various inspections on drill pipe before the use of drilling and after.

The purpose of inspection is to make sure that the drill pipe was in drilling condition and it was my job to make sure that the specs to drill was 100%

Some of my specialty skills that i learned while at MTS:

preform accurate wall gage readings to insure that the thickness of the was was accurate with the type of Drill Pipe

Understand the knowledge of x-raying drill pipe for any internal and external defects, such as cracks, inclusions that could change the initial strength of the drill pipe.
